Measurement Tools

Pre-assessement

The online pre-assessement is used as a benchmark to measure progress throughout the learner experience. There are four variations of this assessment that provide an apples-to-apples comparison with a post-assessment without having to retake the same test. Reports are available that outline who has successfully completed the assessment. Some results feedback will be available for instructors prior to class.

Post-assessment

Several months after training, skills and behavior move from short-term memory to long-term memory. Unfortunately, unless constantly reinforced, people tend to forget half of what they learned by the time this happens. The post-assessment tests the same skills as the pre-assessment. It serves three purposes:

  • It gives individuals an unbiased assessment of their strengths and weaknesses as compared to a mastery target score.
  • It gives managers a profile of their group's combined strengths and weaknesses as compared to a mastery target score.
  • It allows the organization to compare their current performance against their starting performance and the mastery target scores of other organizations that have taken the assessment.

Post-survey
